Wood stove installed in basement.

This weekends projects included, hanging up the towel rack we built and installing a wood stove in the basement.  We already had the chimney installed along side the gas fireplace chimney, so we thought why not.  We might need it in case the power would go out from a snowstorm, that has happened a few times in the past. So we had fun burning up some scrap lumber while watching it snow outside. 

 

 

Finishing up on some things before calving begins and we are gone every weekend. 

 Tate has put the finishing touches on the island backer and installed wood on the bottom of the fireplace.  

We braved the cold in the garage over the weekend and made a towel rack for the Master Bathroom. Jolene and I decided to take a selfie while working some new heifers.

Home Sweet Home for Christmas!! 

Happy 40th to us!! 
We moved in this weekend for our Birthdays even though we still have flooring to do.  sigh... We hosted our Birthday with family, cooked pork chops on the Traeger grill my parents gave us for an early Christmas present. It was fun evening. 
Put up my Christmas present from last year. Tate surprised me with a dinning table and we haven't seen it for a year, it has been plastic wrapped amongst all the construction.  Put together a couple bar stool for us to eat at.  Moved the washer and dryer yesterday as well, just in time for snow/blizzard conditions. 

Granite counter tops are finally installed!

 

Cleaned out the garage! 

   We loaded up 3 loads of cardboard boxes and misc scrap lumber to the dump, and a day of cleaning out, but we got it done. We still have the front part as a work shop area, but we are so excited to be able to park our vehicles inside this Winter!  

We finished up the stairs, hung some lighting, working on the guest bath... Its coming together. 

We hope to be in by the end of the month... as we Both will be 40!! Yikes! 

 We have the granite guys coming on Friday, a new bed this week, and carpet hopefully the next week. We have to do the wood floor yet in the great room, and we hope that goes smooth so we can get moved in by our Birthdays.
